Raise The Flag – The Biggest Ball Crushing Salute to Australian Hard Rock!
Founded in 2008 by renowned ‘Rogue Sharks’ guitarist Mick Adkins, his close friend, entrepreneurial music enthusiast Keirran Downham and the valuable assistance of others, the band has performed across the country playing pubs, clubs and outdoor events as well as private and corporate shows.
With a rotation of members based on their individual availability, the line-up has consistently included past and/or present members of iconic Australian rock bands such as Rose Tattoo, The Angels, The Screaming Jets and even AC/DC! The band has also featured members of Baby Animals, Diesel, Skyhooks and The Poor.
Including hit songs from the aforementioned bands, Raise The Flag’s set include tracks from Billy Thorpe, Australian Crawl, Cold Chisel, Easybeats and Choirboys. More recently due to the inclusion of hits from ‘The Divinyls’ and ‘Baby Animals’, the band has recruited the incomparable talents of Rose Carleo from Sydney’s ‘Rose Carleo Band’. Another notable mention is Simon McCullough from Melbourne rockers ‘Destroy She Said’ who brings to the group his high vocal range. Raise The Flag – Australian Hard Rock – Loud & Proud!!
